Give Thanks To God

The Open heavens of today focused on giving thanks to God because that is his delicacy. After i remembered reading this, i must tell you i felt icky and embarrassed by my ungrateful attitude. God works to make sure i stay protected and holy, but once i do not get something- that i dont want-i start to ask God unnecessarily questions and act like i have been forsaken? Yes my attitude was as unreasonable as it sounds. The fact that God is with me daily, monitoring all my actions and sending down angels to protect me is enough. It is way better than any special program. And now that i think about it, i need to spend more time thanking God than asking why things are not going my way. This is something we should all do, everyday before you go to bed tell God THANK YOU. The bible passage to go with this advice is Psalm 50: 14-15
"Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High,
and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
If you have not gained anything from my rant please remember that God is available for you to call upon and he will deliver you! As long as you feed him his delicacy: THANKS-GIVING! May God bless everyone who lays their eyes on this blog. My great protector will wrap his arms around you and protect you from the evils of this world and disappointments that may come your way. Amen!

  1. Your post spoke to me a lot. I am going through trials right now and I am so confused at time. it seems as if God is not listening to my prayer. I am asking my self how long do I have to be in this situation? But like you said, we should give thanks in everything regardless of the situation. I have been complaining just like the children of Israel on their way to the promise land. I am not perfect but I know God is and He has my best interest at heart. the other thing that is encouraging m now, it is what we spoke about on Sunday. God has a perfect plan for our lives but crazy devil will try every thing he can to discourage us. but we all know he is a big fat liar. Joseph's dream came to past regardless of all he had to endure. mine will come to past as well and I guarantee you miss seye that yours will come to past also. may be not the way you want it but trust me as long as it is in God's plan, it will manifest at the right time and everything will make perfect sense to you.
    keep your head up and remember that God got your back. the book of Psalm 23 says that the Lord is our shaper we shall not want....that is a perfect promise that Got got you sister.

    1. Thank you. I am sorry for my REALLY late reply, better late than never right? Since the last time i posted, I have learned that creating and teaching yourself the habit of Thanking God in everything you do is extremely important.
